About the Minister

The Tree of Life Yoga Studio opened in 1996 to a handful of students. Over the years, the studio grew to serve over 200 students weekly and was home to many talented teachers sharing their gifts. It was a blessing to serve the community in this way!

By the summer of 2004, I was anticipating the start of my second year in seminary to become an interfaith minister. I knew that, in addition to teaching yoga, I wanted to create a space where people of different religions could come together to listen, learn and create peace through understanding. I also wanted to expand the Gifts of Grace Foundation activities as well as sponsor more Souhegan Valley Interfaith Council events. I knew it was time for a shift in focus. Although difficult, I made the decision to return to how I had begun eight years before - to being on my own. Finally, in October 2006, I changed the name to The Tree of Life School for Sacred Living, LLC, to reflect the expanded mission.

I believe that it is my job to follow the deepest impulse of my heart and then to release the manifestation into the hands of the Creator. I just work here after all. While I am planting new seeds in interfaith ministry, I feel very blessed to continue teaching yoga and spiritual studies classes and to continue offering spiritual mentoring. Come and learn to walk lightly as you journey deep.
